UX: age doesn't "batch" identities when unwrapping files as described by the spec

What were you trying to do

Write a plugin that does some expensive set up and then tries to decrypt using all the identities it's given. Given the spec one would assume multiple identities are batched together into one plugin call.

What happened

The plugin binary is called once per identity instead.. Would a change to improve this be welcome?

Do you mean by starting this discussion? Or by trying to get age to batch identities? I'm trying to achieve clarity on how plugins work. Why is the spec written this way? Concretely, as explained, my plugin does some expensive set up that ideally wouldn't be unnecessarily repeated for each identity.
