I have made an issue at obsidian-tasks but there might be something that can be done by this plugin also.
obsidian-tasks-group/obsidian-tasks#2178

If there are date markers the todoist tag should be added before the day markers not after them at the end.

Hallo, I'm the Tasks plugin author and maintainer, since May 2022...

It is an unfortunate limitation of the original Tasks design that:

it reads properties and tag from the end of the line backwards
until it finds anything that is neither a property not a tag
and then it stops reading

In this docs, it is written up as What do I need to know about the order of items in a task?

We are tracking this as a feature request in:

Make Tasks find signifiers even in there is text after them obsidian-tasks-group/obsidian-tasks#1505

But there are currently no plans to work on it, so it is likely to stay the same behaviour for some time.
