Hello,

I try to install the gateway within my home assistant os.
But i can't use the command pip, it is not there.

Then i created a folder within the custom_components folder and added a init.py file.
But nothing works.

Can you heklp me setting this up within the standard hassio enviroment?

Thank you.

Regards

If you just want basic home assistent integration you don't need this project. Just follow the instruction on the official documentation: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/rflink/ . I guess this issue can be closed?

Hello
The problem with the official rflink intégration is that you don't have unique_id on entity. Then it's complicated to use the devices you add to rflink. you can't add them to a room. You can use a template but it's not that good.
It's easier to use mqtt to manage this.
Regards
