The Ledger Live mobile app allows a user to scan a QR code displayed on another device, but this does not give the user a way to connect to an app from a browser on the same device.
When the user initiates the Walletconnect flow from the target app, the user gets a QR code to scan OR the ability to copy a code. Most other wallets allow the option to either scan or paste that code to establish the connection but the Ledger Live mobile app does not.

On Android I get an option to connect to ledger live (or other installed walletconnect apps) instead of using the QR code, and it works but only for Ethereum. Even though some other blockchains use the same address and will display balance etc., the Dapps I use all fail for most operations with the error "can't switch network", so basically it's useless for defi.
