I have always been inspired by the lazygit or lazydocker tool. They give use teminal nerds an easy way to interact with our stuff.

I hate using music streaming services and always purchase my music and play locally.

I needed a good solution to manage and play the music the way I want. I was frustrated with #Flatpak and #AppImage to find a music player in Linux. So built a TUI for MPD(https://www.musicpd.org/).

What the world doesn't need is yet another MPD client. (Even less so a vibe-coded one.)
What we need is more maintainers for existing clients!
Because in all those years, everybody and his dog created new clients and quickly abandoned them. There is a huge number of abandoned MPD clients. Vibe-coded clients will probably worse. Few clients really survived, but they're all one-person shows. So please instead of inventing yet another client, consider helping with an existing client.
Unfortunately, helping with existing projects, while much more productive, is considered boring chore, but creating a new project is oh-so exciting. But the excitement quickly wears off - history repeating forever with the next guy.

I havn't posted this rant for a few years, so this was a good chance, after seeing the first vibe-coded MPD client.
