I was testing your script(s) to create a German Holidays ics for offline, personal use in Thunderbird (On W10, latest Python installed).
I figured out how it works but found a problem i can not solve.
If i use a file with umlaut in scripted-holidays for example, the script stops there. The rest of the file are not read.
If i use Heilige Drei Könige.txt, everything stops. If i use Heilige Drei Koenige.txt it works.
Is there something i can or need to do so that it reads German named files?
