Hover Zones

Hello,

I have a question about Hover Zones. It doesn't work for me.

The OSD hides after a couple seconds. I want to bring it up when my mouse is on the MPV window. Currently, this distinguishes between top area and bottom area. I want to show the bottom bar always, regardless of where my mouse is.

In modernz.conf, i have this line:

zones_hover_mode=always

But still, it only triggers when I am at the bottom area, which I don't want. I want it to show regardless of the area.

What did I do wrong?

That option was replaced recently to match upstream mpv. In your modernz.conf, add:

windowcontrols_independent=no
deadzonesize=0.0

You should download an updated modernz.conf, as several options were either removed or renamed.
