Prerequisites

  • I have written a descriptive issue title.
  • I have searched all issues/PRs to ensure it has not already been reported or fixed.
  • I have verified that I am using the latest version of Scoop and corresponding bucket.

Package Name

gimp-dev

Expected/Current Behaviour

Need to be able to install 3.0.0-RC2 (and future RCs until RTM, which has been pushed back for almost a year)

Steps to Reproduce

> scoop install gimp-dev

Possible Solution

The current checkver regex doesn't pick up the -RC# part of the version string.

Scoop and Buckets Version

Current Scoop version:
859d1db5 (HEAD -> master, tag: v0.5.2, origin/master, origin/HEAD) chore(release): Bump to version 0.5.2 (#6080)

'versions' bucket:
f0cd73ffb (HEAD -> master, origin/master, origin/HEAD) odin-nightly: Update to version 2025-01-01
