so-suricata and so-steno missing #5918
-
I have a fresh 2.3.80 install on Ubuntu 18. I installed via a network install with a standalone node (home network with just a handful of VLANs) on a dedicated esxi virtual machine and everything seamed to go well. I am ingesting logs from the network and hosts but I noticed there are no PCAPs. Checking the console I find: so-steno ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [ MISSING ] Grid shows a fault: Docker's status says that both images do not exist but running "sudo docker images | grep suricata" shows: and ..."grep steno" shows: I am very new to docker and have some somewhat basic console/command line experience so not sure what logs I should post here. Any help in figuring this out would be awesome. I should also note that I did run "so-docker-refresh" and it did look to be running fine, though there was a LOT of output. |

I ended up reinstaling using the Centos-based image and everything is now running smooth. I would have prefered Ubuntu but having a home lab to learn stuff is why I'm doing this. |
