I planted grass in preparation for my next crop. I did not weed it, so there are large weeds. I'm currently rolling the field but it is not removing weeds. I chose to roll instead of mulch because in the instructions it appears that is the route we should be taking if possible. The large weeds are not being removed by the roller and are not removed by the seeder. Am I doing this correctly? I assumed the weeds would have been removed in this process since one of the draws to doing this properly is no weeds after seeding.

directly across the street in the field on the left, you can see weeds there too. it's currently cultivated and has large weeds. if i go seed over there, the large weeds disappear. the weeds on the original field appear to be immune to crop destruction as well

CA does not prevent weed removal, if anything, it additionally removes weeds in some situations. Can you try a new save game on the same map with no mods and check if you get the same issue? It almost looks like the map has a problem here
