Every odd numbered entry blends in with the dark background #16

Glad you like my theme! :D |
Just checked the laf text settings, not sure which specific setting I'm supposed to change but messing with some of the colors didn't change much of anything https://i.imgur.com/sClqRzZ.png Screenshot of what happens, it's the same even after messing around in the settings. |
You know, I really dont understand what is up with your text there.... |
Hi guys, first things first, I love the dark theme and really appreciate your work on it, @Vinylwalk3r, thank you very much. @WandeingLagomorph793 I was also searching for a possibility to make the odd (1,3,5,..) lines more readable, because black font on that dark grey background was indeed not optimal. So if you search for 'background' in the advanced search in jd2 settings, disable that package background highlight and additionally I set I slightly darker color for 'Color For Panel Background' and that seems to be my daily driver now. |
@Vinylwalk3r Mate, you are my hero!!! Thank you so much for this theme, now JDownloader fits way much better to my desktop and it's working fine on Linux. Just one question, can I get rid of that blue highlight color on some buttons and around the linkgrabber etc.? |
@mrprobot that light blue highlight color was annoying me too, so I found the offending files. Instead of xml or html, they are actual images (a lot of them) that are the light blue outline color. I darkened them all up to a dark blue that fits in more with my modded theme (I also use the dark blue progress bars from BlackStar, not easy to copy over but not that hard.) Here's the files, you put them into your custom syntheticaBlackEye.jar file following the same instructions here for adding in Vinyl's custom buttons and such. If you want to further change them, make sure to use something like Serif Affinity Photo or anything that will keep the transparency intact. |
So I like the theme so far, it looks really nice.
One hang up is i I have a big list, then every first entry has black text (so 1-3-5-7), while every other entry has the white text. This makes it really hard to see it unless I specifically hover over it, I'm not sure if there is a fix or if there's a weird configuration I need to edit, I'm poking around the backup and advanced settings just in case.
