Where would be the best place to help out and I'm getting the internet error page on load

I was going to try my hand at fixing a small issue to help out a bit.
I cloned the repo and ran npm run-script start. I keep getting the internet error page.

Maybe opentranslationtools.org (which I can't hit) is behind a VPN or isn't active anymore?

I don't see many commits on this, is the project still active?
Where could I help with my limited time, but experience? Which project?
