544 and 365 error in Domoticz.

Now I upgraded to v.1.1.1.1 and the problems started.

Version 1.1.1 version of the plugin requires version 0.7.0 of the solaredge_modbus library.
One of the changes is the switch from "p1_current" to "l1_current".
You are using the new plugin with an older version of the solaredge_modbus library.
Or you are using an older version of the plugin with a newer version of the solaredge_modbus library.

My advise: upgrade both and check if things are working.

Probably, but that is going to take some time to get going.
I would prefer to see if the response from the inverter is compatible with what the plugin expects to receive.

Is it an option for you to hop over to https://github.com/nmakel/solaredge_modbus and try to run the example.py like this:

And then share the response here please.

I found out that the modbus port have been shutdown. After some hours, I find out how to enable it again.I also change it to the default port 1502.

OK, the good news is, that communications with the inverter seems to work.
I see some strange readings with the meter (for example the c_manufacturer field).
This is probably a timeout issue. Please try again to run the example and add --timeout 5.
It should report an actual name instead of these wierd values.

Just to make sure: you do have a meter attached to the inverter right?

This suggests that some of the libraries were installed with sudo and others were not.
My advice: remove all the modbus and solaredge related libraries and then reinstall them with sudo.
Just to make sure that you don't have a mix of the 2.

Ok, I am lost now.

What do you mean by "if I start Domoticz and I run the command again"?
Are you trying to run both Domoticz and the example.py at the same time?
That may/may not work; the inverter will only accept a certain number of connections.
Running things in parallel will not (always) work. Don't run them at the same time.
If you want to test with the example.py, go to the hardware tab in domoticz and disable the inverter.
When you're done with the example.py, enable the inverter in domoticz again.

If you are concerned about losing historical data, then disable the existing inverter in the hardware tab and create a new one.
Once everything is working, you can throw the new one away and enable the one with the historical data again.
And make sure that you have a backup of your data of course!
There is no guarantee that nothing will get lost when experimenting with domoticz.

You are sharing parts of logs; that makes it hard to understand what is going on.
Can we do the following:

• Disable all hardware in your Domoticz setup.
• Cleanout the log
• Create a new entry for your inverter.
• Set the "log level" setting to "extra"
• Save the new inverter
• Let it run for a few minutes and then disable it
• Zip the whole log and upload it here

What I mean was, if Domoticz is started, I 'm to able to connect with Example.py. So that is the proof that Domoticz is connecting to the inverter.

Yes, it is clear what the issue is: you have an older (0.6.6 or earlier) version of the solaredge_modbus running...

As you can see from your info of the 6th of November, the example.py returns:

Version 0.7.0 of the solaredge_modbus changed the naming from "p" to "l"; see the release notes here: https://github.com/nmakel/solaredge_modbus/releases/tag/0.7.0

Your Domoticz installation is using an older version and the plugin expects a solaredge_modbus version of 0.7.0 or higher.

You already mentioned that you removed the library and reinstalled it, but there is still an older version on your system.
Is your Domoticz instance running under another account? If so, login and check with that user account.
Did you install the solaredge_modbus library in the Domoticz plugin folder where the Domoticz SolarEdge_ModbusTCP plugin is installed?
Your Domoticz log should report lines similar to the example.py output you shared on the 6th of November.

But I could not find the right way.

but that didn't fix it either.

Then I removed Python 3.8 :

Looks like there are multiple software-version conflicts on your system. Items missing and/or not compatible.
When I look at the Domoticz forum, I see a lot of topics where the version of the OS, Domoticz, Python or another component are not "compatible". It's hard to solve such an issue if you don't know what the cause is.
I don't think this is caused/related to the plugin anymore and I don't know how to help you fix this.
Perhaps you can raise a question on the Domoticz forum; there are far more people over there than here...

I have created a version of the plugin that displays which solaredge_modbus library is actually being used: plugin.zip

Please replace the plugin.py with the one that is in this zip file. Then restart Domoticz and have a look at the logfile. It should show something like this:

Please share that part of the log.

Then I would like to have a look at the contents of the reported __init__.py file as mentioned after the origin attribute in the last line.
Please zip that file and upload it here as well.
