Issue description

I’m having an issue when trying to run games on my steam deck OLED, when docked with the official valve dock. Games always crash upon booting despite working in handheld mode.

Detailed reproduction steps

Everything runs perfect in handheld mode, no issue with any games.
When docked and connected to my tv the menus etc run fine, however games won’t load properly.
The intro sequences and movies (for example with ps1 the white Sony screen upon start up, and FMV movies before the main menu) are incredibly slow and the sound is all distorted. Once I attempt to load into the actual game the system just freezes and makes a horrible buzzing sound and I have to reboot the steamdeck.
if I try to jump in from a save state it instantly freezes and buzzes.
Is there something I need to change on settings to run the games through my tv?
The issue occurs on both the latest stable release version and the latest butterfly version.
I have emudeck installed on the internal hard drive and the games on here work fine when docked, so I don’t think it’s a compatibility issue with my tv.

Details of any attempts to fix this yourself

I tried both batocera versions, stable and butterfly.
I’ve also tried changing to a few different resolution settings on the video output.
Tried different HDMI ports on the tv.

Details of any modifications you have made to Batocera.
