add ability to modify cronjob schedule

Im selfhosting farside on my android and i noticed it's fetching instances too many times. I wish to have ability to change the cronjob schedule so that it fetches instances like every hour rather than every 5 mins, etc.

I'm not sure I understand your issue. You're running your own instance of Farside and it's slow? Or you're using Farside and it is too slow to return an instance for a particular service? Either way, decreasing the time would make instance polling more frequent (increasing the number of total requests). If you're just using Farside and it's taking too long to return an instance, then changing the cron schedule wouldn't have any impact.
