Nuclearcraft: Neoteric help

Hey everyone!
So, I have been trying to use CC: Tweaked, and trying to get "getHeatStored()" on a reactor port. So, I literally found nothing usefull on the internet since most use "require" which is not used in CC: Tweaked anymore, and are thereby outdated.
If anybody could give a quick rundown how I can use get a connection to the actual port so I can get the Functions running from a different mod (Nuclearcraft here) would be really helpful. Thanks!
