Pipeline 2 v1.14.17 (App version 1.2.7) released

Version 1.14.17 of DAISY Pipeline 2 (App version 1.2.7) is now available for download! The following alternative packages are proposed:

• for Windows users: the desktop app installer (exe file, 138 MB)
• for Mac OS X users: the desktop app installer (pkg file, 183 MB)
• for Debian/Ubuntu users: the Debian package (73 MB)
• for other Linux users: the zip package (81 MB)

This release features an improved installer that detects and uninstalls older installations, automatic checking for software updates, a new API for setting TTS properties globally, new script options for specifying aural CSS style sheets for TTS, fixes for various issues reported by EPUBCheck and Ace in EPUBs created from DTBook, ZedAI and HTML, and various other improvements and bug fixes. Please refer to the full release notes.
