Uncaught Error: SecurityError: insecure SockJS connection

I downloaded and built the extension and loaded it into Chrome. Then I opened a new tab and navigated to a web page (I used wikipedia.org but it doesn't matter), and noticed errors in the extensions window that say:

Uncaught Error: SecurityError: An insecure SockJS connection may not be initiated from a page loaded over HTTPS

Chrome version: Version 127.0.6533.73 (Official Build) (64-bit)
