Hello Duolicious Developer,

I am a developer from India, and while using your application, I encountered a few issues and suggestions that you might consider to improve it.

  1. The logic for the Q&A and matching process seems off. I felt a bit confused about whether the girls listed were really my type or if they would be interested in chatting. It's a feeling that’s hard to explain
It could be due to my inexperience with dating or possibly because the list of potential matches is somewhat limited, hindering its full potential.

  2. Internationalization could be improved. You could use IP addresses to determine the user's location. As someone from India, I found that some of the Q&A questions were tailored to a U.S. audience, making them hard to understand. Additional internationalization based on the user's country would be beneficial.

  3. There's a lack of engaging content. It might sound trivial, but there isn't enough content to keep users engaged. Personally, I struggle with typing and have a low attention span. It would be nice to have features that encourage interaction, like games or activities with other online users. ( opposite sex obvs for same common history for easy communication ) This could enhance the overall experience.

  4. When a user deletes their account, it would be helpful to ask for their reason for leaving in an optional format, and store this information for future improvements.

In summary, focusing more on internationalization and enhancing user engagement are my main points.

If you're interested, I would love to contribute to the project. I'm proficient in both Python and JavaScript, so feel free to reach out to me via GitHub to arrange a meeting. I would love to contribute my adding some line of code.

With the exception of (4), these are very ambitious goals. Although I appreciate your enthusiasm, I think we'd need a team of regular contributors before I feel confident tackling them. Have you looked at the backlog for quicker wins? These are some good tickets to help get familiar with the code base before moving on to bigger challenges:

Please let me know if I can help. I realize the descriptions in the issue tracker could be improved.

@DeepeshKalura There's a #dev-talk channel at https://duolicious.app/discord, though I give quicker responses on GitHub. I'm the only regular contributor to the project right now.
