Catena-X Portal subsumes different services in one single application. Additionally, these services are partly interlinked with each other. To enable a future scenario in which potentially multi OpCos exist requires a concept that includes:

• definition of minimal amount of services/ core services a potential OpCo must provide (e.g. potential OpCo could already run an own Marketplace for its own products. Does such a candidate really need another/ Catena-X marketplace?) - interlink to operating model concept
• analysis which of the integrated services within Catena-X Portal could potentially be federated or need to be offered as single instance service to enable an hub or federated catalog concept which enables multi operating company connection.
• a design that describes a modularized architecture of Portal application. This design should describe the single modules/ services including the interfaces between individual instances of the services (e.g. EDC Registration Service)
• new standards (APIs)
