Does "Vanishing Point" work Online?

[SecularSteve]

I can't confirm it because I have no idea if anyone's playing. For all I know it's region dependent.

All I get is the old "Dialing your Broadband DSL" screen when I try it, and it stays there forever.

Can anyone answer this?

This game only features online leaderboards but I don't think the web site has been revived.
