Steps to reproduce

  1. Type https://github.com/notifications to the browser address bar and press Enter. If you hover the mouse over the bell icon now, it [the extension] should work properly.
  2. In the list of notifications, click any notification. If you hover the mouse over the bell icon, null should appear.

Browser: Google Chrome
