I'm analyzing custom oligo libraries where each barcode sequence corresponds to a different gene in different screens (as we have them synthesized for each screen separately). As such, the gene column in
-l, --library <LIBRARY>
Path to the guide library metadata. May be a tab- or comma-separated file. Must have a
header line, and the first three fields must be (in order): i) the ID of the guide, ii)
the base sequence of the guide, iii) the gene the guide targets
is not meaningful. I have now created a library file that has made up gene names in the third column. Would it make sense to allow a missing gene column for screens that do not have a clear barcode-gene mapping?
