The VEuPathDB data dump

so i had a bit of a look around what was delivered by veupath.. two thoughts:

1. i dont think i see the MapVEu data. i kind of get it, it doesnt live in the same place/ work the same way as the rest of the data. likely an oversight, or maybe they delivered it but i didnt find it yet. if we have any interest in this data, well likely want to talk to them about it. but we should probably also first think amongst ourselves what wed want to do w it.
2. these data are what drives their sites, but from our perspective grabbing raw data might be more interesting? it certainly increases our flexibility in how we can incorporate them/ what we can do w them.. and if we link back to veupath for gene results then that increased flexibility might be good for them too bc they essentially gain novel searches any time we implement something they havent yet or doesnt make sense in context of their site.
