I tried downgrading to the version that I was using previously (15.6.0) and it worked fine

can you share your usage? The signature of the execute, subscribe and graphql function changed. You can no longer use the multi-argument call signature. Instead you need to pass a single object with all the arguments.

I use apollo-server-micro I update the discussion.

Most likely from what you said the apollo-server-micro source code needs to be updated but the apollo guys didn't do that yet

Apollo doesn’t support v16 just yet see apollographql/apollo-server#5844
