Came here looking for solutions, was hoping I could get it working with Maya 2024 or 2025.

With the power of ChatGPT.... :)
I'm no programmer, but I gave it a try anyway.

My prompt simply was to have chatGPT convert from Python 2 to 3.

This will fix the exporter.
