The owner of this repo is not the original author. Vxiiduu's GH account was banned by M$, so 1.1.1.1375 is the latest version of original author. But I will add this function to my branch. |
I know i486 is not the original author. But didn't i486 first post the updated version? Or am I in risk of having some kind of malware by using latest version? |
There are a few misconceptions here: Vxiiduu was not banned by Microsoft; he voluntarily deleted his GitHub account. For the record, I have not posted any "updated" versions. All releases and source code hosted in this repository are directly from the original author/repo. Anyways, I’m really glad to see the work you’re putting in, @YuZhouRen86 |
@i486 , I just noticed that you put in your repository an update from Vxiiduu himself (I missread the announcement). Either way, I took the files from here so that's why I posted here. Only some time later those same files where posted in Vxiiduu's repo. |
I am sorry to put the wrong information about vxiiduu. As i486 said, he deleted his GH account and published new version on Discord, and use old usernames to register after 90 days is allowed in GH. The new vxiiduu GH account is fake. My branch was based on 1.1.1.1375, as Discord is banned here in China mainland. However, I am updating it to 1.1.2 version. |
First of all, thank you for keeping this software updated.
I'm using latest Vivaldi browser and, after updating to this new VxKex version, I'm getting the following error (from the logs):
I replaced the file kxuser.dll from v1.1.1.1380 (from CopperFR) and it fixed my problem. I'm just not sure it's a good idea to mix file versions and/or if your file has more functions in it.
Could you include that fumction in your version, if possible?
