Ford blocking my access for this intergration #486

I am in Australia, A few of weeks ago my HA Ford integration stopped working and would not authorize. I checking the FordPass app. on my mobile which had also logged me out . Tried to login and kept coming up with too many attempts.

I contacted FordPass directly and they said they would review and come back to me.

Here is their Response;

*** Your FordPass account has been disabled as we have noticed you are using a Third Party Software (Open-Source Software - Address using forbidden home automation or 3rd party software) which is accessing FordPass, hence being unable to log in.

You will need to disable the Third Party Software from accessing FordPass, once you do so, we can re-enable your account. (Please note - if the Third party is in use after this, the account will be blocked again).

Please let me know once this has been disabled and we will organize re-enabling your account. ****

Has anyone else had this issue?

This is know, and is a possibility, which is why there is information regarding this topic on the README

It has been a while since we have seen an account locked out If you are only using Home Assistant as your "Third Party Software"

However, if you have different services linked to your Ford account it may be because of them.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes I did see this is possible in the README, but wanted to see if this was wide spread.

I am only using HA integration and the FordPass App itself no other third party integrations.

I am still waiting for them to re-enable my account.
