An IP-address is often assigned to a device's interface. (example: network interface of a copy machine).
This makes the IP-address listed as assigned.
When the IP-address is assigned, the actual device no longer lists the IP in the dropdown management IP.
An IP-address can be linked to multiple things.
While sometimes handy, it might be undesired behavior to hide already assigned IP-addresses (be cautious!)
