The main goal is to prevent changes to the CDM pipeline from affecting production datasets. Focus is placed on isolating "dev" and "prod" components. Several possible solutions such as parallel DAGs pointing to dev resources/codebases vs. complete separate test environment.

Current DAGs will need to be reworked to allow for flexible usage in prod/dev.
