I have installed the addin to fusion 360, however the button does not show up in the "Modify" drop down menu.

Have you started the Add-In after installing it? Once you have added the Add-In to your \API\AddIns folder you need to:

  1. In the toolbar, go to UTILITIES > Scripts and Add-Ins.
  2. Run the Add-In from the list.

Afterwards it should appear in the Mesh > Modify section.

I have completed the actions below as you have suggested......However the 'Button" does not appear in the Modify Section.

I have completed the actions you suggested, BUT SILL DO NOT SEE THE BUTTON IN THE MODIFY DROP DOWN.

Another user might have figured out the issue, regarding the naming of Fusion360 addin directories:
