That can happen whenever reaching the next level if tasks are not in normal level order, special path task lists like quantum terrarium have not considered this issue,
there can be quest specific safeguards like #1114 for L7 L12 going back to desert when it detects the Ultrahydrated effect it does not do that
but maybe it's better to add a general override for olfaction higher in the task list?
