is there any update available for BedrockAgent bedrock_agent_with_kernel_function create_kernel_function_action_group function?

Hi All,
trying to use v'1.34.0', is there any update for the bedrock_agent_with_kernel_function
doc states create_kernel_function_action_group function # Note: We still need to create the kernel function action group on the service side.
I'm getting an error: object has no attribute 'create_kernel_function_action_group' while trying to run this sample-code bedrock_agent_with_kernel_function.

Thanks for pinning this down to a specific version and linking the exact sample line, that made it quick to check against the released 1.34.0 wheel.

create_kernel_function_action_group is present in 1.34.0 (and still on main), and the # Note: We still need to create the kernel function action group on the service side. comment is not a TODO: it describes what that line does, which is registering the action group with the Bedrock Agents service and pointing it back at your kernel via RETURN_CONTROL. So the AttributeError comes from the object the call is made on, not from the SDK. The type name at the start of the message ('...' object has no attribute) tells which one; dropping the await in front of create_and_prepare_agent reproduces your exact text:

The second link in your post is bedrock_mixed_chat_agents.py, which never calls this method. If you added the call there, it has to go on agent_writer (the BedrockAgent) after its await BedrockAgent.create_and_prepare_agent(...), not on the group chat or on the reviewer agent.

What the method does (bedrock_agent_base.py:238 in 1.34.0)

• Raises ValueError if the agent has not been created yet (agent_model.agent_id is empty).
• Collects the kernel's available functions; with none it logs a warning and returns None.
• Calls bedrock_client.create_agent_action_group(...) with actionGroupExecutor={"customControl": "RETURN_CONTROL"} and a function schema built from your kernel functions, then waits for the agent to be prepared again.

So a fresh BedrockAgent needs both steps from the sample: create_and_prepare_agent(..., kernel=kernel) and then await bedrock_agent.create_kernel_function_action_group().

Checked against the 1.34.0 wheel from PyPI and main at ca40aa7 (same method, same file). The method first appeared in 1.23.0 (PR #10740), so any 1.23+ install has it.
