Is this project participating in Hacktoberfest next month? and can you point to specific features that might be good starter issues to get in to the project?

Hi, i didnt considered it but feel free to use it.
In terms of issues the more interesting ones from my perspective would be to add more renewables options (hydro #5 for instance which is a good challenge to modeled/simplified due to the role of precipitation)
EROI #1 (Energetic return on investment) in addition to pure money cost can be very interesting feature to add too
