I dont know how to setup

Hi Folks,
sorry for this Posting but I am completly new to this.

What I did so far:

1. Setup an Influx DB
2. copied this repository to my Raspi and hit setup.

But from my perspective I have to use example.py to get data from my Inverter. How can I automate this step to get all this Data into my DB ? every few seconds ? Where should I setup Host Port and DB for a permanent use without using it as arguments on script call ?
