Add Support for Choosing Other Languages #27
Comments
Relevant (forthcoming support for SCSS in Notepad+): notepad-plus-plus/notepad-plus-plus#1785 |
Valid feature request. But currently I moved to vs code and don't have much time to spare. Though I might make an extension for vs code. |
Anyway, I'll try to squeeze some time for minor updates on this project. |
Understandable. :) Well, once there's native support for SCSS in Notepad+ I might be able to do simple PR just adding the correct language string to QCP. That'll be simpler than what I was originally asking (I hadn't realized SCSS support was forthcoming when I made my original post). |
Pretty late in the game, but I'd love that too :) |
Hi there,
I use SCSS files and https://github.com/marvinlabs/notepad-plus-plus-scss-syntax-highlighting to provide highlighting for them (since the SCSS language doesn't seem to be built in to Notepad+ yet). Double-clicking on a color code does bring up the color picker, but the color underlines don't work in the SCSS files. It would be great if QCP had the option to choose additional Languages to enable QCP functionality in, then folks such as myself could choose whatever User-Defined language we're using for things like SCSS files.
Thanks for considering my request!
Sean
