This feature would interrupt how letterhead (header and footer) + multipage invoice is designed. And would require a large effort to do it. Also this is generated entire page via a JS library streamed into a PDF and then attached. So there is no scope to use the ERPNext's functionality to generate a HTML (which is what you are referring to). They are not compatible technologies.

Hello Team, I talked to @mayanknahata007 about this earliert this morning....
I know from integrating Logos in ERPNext that it is often done by adding a PNG some where and then referencing the PNG in a HTML code part.
Maybe we could use a similar process to have the QR-Code part stick to the lower end of a Printformat?
So this part...
...would be a PNG attached to the doctype and then pulled into the Printformat?
