"No selection" Text (--Select One--) is not displayed in GF in specific cases

Issue Overview

If a field type is (seemingly) changed from Radio to Dropdown or back, the no selection --Select One-- option is not shown in GF if the field values get populated by pods.
Did not try further to reproduce, but it affects a few fields...
