This issue was originally created by @sbrandstaeter on gitlab.lrz.de on 2024-02-08.

Motivation and Context

We should add some tutorials to the repository.
These tutorials don't have to be extremely elaborate but would help a lot for beginners.
A first draft for a set of tutorials was created for the QUEENS workshop at IMCS in November 2023.
The jupyter notebooks of the workshop could serve as a basis for the tutorials.

The tutorials must be tested in the CI pipeline such that we detect if they need updating.

Current Behavior

We don't have any tutorials that show how to use QUEENS.
For some advice on how to use QUEENS, the user needs to run the tests and look into the temporary test folders for working input templates of scripts (which are created based on the templates in the tests folder).

Possible Solution

  • First do this.
  • Then do that.
  • Also this other thing.
