What: create a page for developers to reference when coding and testing for accessibility/usability

Why: establish accessibility/usability standards for the project

Implementation details:

Things to cover:

  • Screen readers
  • Keyboard-only users
  • Low bandwidth/slow internet users
  • Support for large text size
  • Colour contrast guide
  • Do we want to follow some kind of accessibility/usability guideline?
  • Other common accessibility/usability concerns

Tasks:

  • Document on the wiki. Intention is to give developers resources to learn about these topics, as well as a 'summary' version so people who don't follow links can quickly get started/find what they are looking for
  • Edit PR template so there is some kind of accessibility/usability checklist
