Hey Shannah

I have just starting working with XY scatter plots and I have noticied that these take alot longer to render than bar char (almost 2 seconds).

Is there any way to speed this up ?

Probably, but it would take some experimentation. When the new graphics pipeline in released for CN1, I'll be porting chartengine over to use it instead of Pisces, and it should be much faster (if I have anything to do with it).

Do you know the new pipeline is released ?

This is actuallly not a problem anymore since I have switched to a Pisces rendering pipeline. There is a small delay but since it does not block the EDT it is not a problem.

The Pisces pipeline is here.

I don't know exactly. But I would expect it within the next couple of
months.
