Why my two new memories have the exactly same serial numbers? :(

Does G.SKILL make ECC memory modules?

Based on the JEDEC standard, DDR5 ICs used in DDR5 U-DIMM memory modules include on-die ECC support. Currently, DDR4/DDR3/DDR2/DDR U-DIMM memory modules do not have ECC support. Starting from March 2023, G.SKILL offers overclocked performance DDR5 R-DIMM memory modules, which has side-band ECC support, as well as on-die ECC included in DDR5 ICs (as defined in JEDEC standard).

AMD support was contacted. After a second direct question it got answered: "yes, Ryzen 5000 series will support ECC but it also depend on the motherboard please check with them."
