For now we should be able to solve this by making it much easier to run an offline version of the docs site. I can look into bundling it up as an easy download that could be run with a local web server if you have python installed or as a self contained docker image. Ensuring the site outputs a readable and correctly structured PDF is non trivial and there isn't the bandwidth to deliver and maintain this right now. But something to keep in mind for the future. |

Hello Slint team,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm a big fan of Slint and I've been enjoying using it for my projects. I appreciate the work you've put into this great UI toolkit.
I have a suggestion that I believe could further enhance the experience for users like myself. Currently, the documentation is readily available online, which is fantastic. However, I was wondering if it would be possible to also provide a PDF version of the full documentation.
Having a PDF version would be incredibly helpful for:
Offline Access: It would allow developers to access the documentation even when they don't have an internet connection. This is particularly useful for those working in areas with unreliable internet or when traveling.
Easy Sharing and Archiving: A PDF can easily be shared with colleagues or saved for future reference. It also provides a nice, consolidated view of the entire documentation.
Improved Readability and Printing: Some users might prefer to read documentation in PDF format or print parts of it for offline reference.
I believe providing a downloadable PDF would make the documentation more accessible and convenient for a wider range of users, making Slint even more user-friendly.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and keep up the great work on Slint!
