Changing Location of Downloaded Files

Just getting to know your script and so far I like it. I am stuck on trying to figure out how to get the scraped files to go into a different location rather than my c:\Windows\System32 folder. I did try to edit the config file in the .config/onlyfans-scraper folder but no matter what drive letter I enter in there I get an error pointing to that line. For instance, I want the files to go to a network mapped drive X:\ so that's what I put and here is the error I get:

Yeah, it currently isn't changeable. I have been working on adding some parts of what's needed to add that functionality but haven't finished it yet. I didn't write this script, just been maintaining it so adding features is a matter of tracking everything back and figuring out where it came from and where it's called.

Just for clarification, the current working folder is where the files will go. So in case running from a shortcut or something like this in Windows, you get Windows\System32, so, just change the Current Working folder to something you want, profit.

Also, there is a config, called save_location which you can specify where the files should go. In my case, it is empty, as I store it in external media and don't want to hardcode it.

I guess I am not understanding the "current working folder" and as I mentioned in my initial post, no matter what file path I put in "save_location", the script errors out. Can I have the script run from a different location that from System32? I am not sure what files I need to gather to move it out of this location to my desired location.

The current working directory is the directory in which your command prompt is in when executing a command. To see what this is you can type PWD short for present working Directory and to change this you can use cd. For more information and help understanding present working directories I would suggest YouTube. There are a lot of tutorials on it.

Also, there was an issue where if the parent Directory didn't exist you would get an error. I have fixed that. If you uninstall the current onlyfans scraper version and install the newest version then update the save_location it should work.

In Windows, in the shortcut, right-click, properties, and change "Start in", this is the PWD of the shortcut.

@mayhemkrew @0x3333 has the correct answer. I didn't realize this was here. I have also made an adjustment to it fixing the issue of creating all folders needed.
