The Notes dock on the right has notes cards that are also effected by the night theme. The night theme changes the text colour to a light off-white, but not the background cards themselves which makes the text unreable as it is essential white-on-white. (see screenshot)

This is always the case so to reproduce just open the notes panel for any PDF. This occurs when the PDF is in any mode, not just dark.
