Using other character issue

Hello, thank you for the good boilerplate that you made ​​availible for us.
But I have an issue with getting Danish letters øæå through.
Of course it is declared in my index.html, but the templates do not get this charset on.
I have downloaded a fresh copy of boilerplate and tried to throw ÆÅØ in with charset and it beats rather not go through that!
