According to Wikipedia (so take this with a grain of salt), Soundblaster uses ADPCM compression and, on 1.0 and 1.5, plays back 8-bit mono samples at up to 23khz. 2.0 brings it up to 44.1 and Pro allows for stereo samples, though only at 22.05khz when in stereo. |

This is probably kinda that a duplicate of #14 but instead i am requesting other chips.
