Contributing to the project

Hi Timm

As mentioned before, I'd like to start contributing to the project. I figure as a new user it is a good time to work on making the configuration and documentation better as once you are familiar with a system it is hard to remember what you didn't know what you started. To that end, I was wondering what is the process with PRs. I notices there are four waiting to be merged, some created by you. Are you waiting for someone to test and approve before merging or just life getting in the way?
