Feeds offset (new posts count badge) option

I wish there was an option to show Feeds offset or new posts count badge in the top corner area with number of new posts in the feed.

It would look like this:

• small badge with a number of new posts when you refresh feed
• when you scroll up you would see a number of new posts in real time
• even if there are no new posts, it would show how many posts to go to the last one when you reading old posts

Motivation

I would like to know how many new posts are there. This option is available in some other app.
