What to do in case of a new device that is not yet supported

I have localtuya integration and managed to get an unsupported device working through it. However, although the power meter works, it cannot be selected on the "Energy" tab. It doesn't appear, so I can't track the amount of electricity received.

So I specified the sensors, switch, ratio on the configuration interface. The exact type of the device and is this information sufficient?
